Privacy

If you submit the waitlist form, FoodSherpa stores the values you enter (email, optional name, optional free-text answer to “what should FoodSherpa help with”) together with the page path you submitted from, the request timestamp, and your browser’s user-agent string. We use this only to follow up about the waitlist and to understand which audiences are most interested.

The site also uses Vercel Analytics for aggregate traffic measurement. Vercel Analytics does not build individual visitor profiles or use third-party tracking cookies.

Waitlist submissions are stored in a private Supabase database owned by FoodSherpa. Access is limited to the FoodSherpa team and is used only for waitlist communication and product-research follow-ups you’ve opted into by joining the list. We do not sell waitlist data and we don’t share it with marketing networks.

The site does not set advertising cookies. Vercel Analytics may set a short-lived first-party identifier to deduplicate page views; it does not follow you across other sites.

You can ask to be removed from the waitlist or have your submission deleted at any time. Email nelson@foodsherpa.app with the email address you used and we’ll remove your record.

The FoodSherpa iOS app is in private development and is not currently distributed to the public. This site does not authenticate users into the app, does not read or write Apple Health data, and does not process food logs, Sage chats, or any other in-app information. When the app is ready for public testing, a separate privacy policy that covers app data — Apple Health permissions, food logs, Sage chat history, storage, retention, and deletion — will be published before any consumer build is distributed.
